Narrative:

After exiting runway 18R at clt we were instructed to taxi on taxiway echo and hold short of runway 05. The threshold of runway 05 is poorly marked. I finally saw it and stopped with the nose on the hold short line. Ground can not see this intersection and it is poorly marked. There should be better markings in place.

Narrative: AFTER EXITING RWY 18R AT CLT WE WERE INSTRUCTED TO TAXI ON TXWY ECHO AND HOLD SHORT OF RWY 05. THE THRESHOLD OF RWY 05 IS POORLY MARKED. I FINALLY SAW IT AND STOPPED WITH THE NOSE ON THE HOLD SHORT LINE. GND CAN NOT SEE THIS INTERSECTION AND IT IS POORLY MARKED. THERE SHOULD BE BETTER MARKINGS IN PLACE.
