Narrative:

Approximately 6 hours into the flight, ord-nrt, we lost all electrical power in business class galley, and circuit breakers popped in aft right chiller compartment, as well as the feeder lights flickering. Shortly thereafter, perhaps 15 mins, the temperature in business class cabin began fluctuation, very warm 79 degrees, then back down to 73 degrees. Captain elected to divert to anc -- 25 mins later we landed. Another airline's mechanic came onboard -- no one had ever seen a B777 before. They went into electrical compartment and found lots of fault lights illuminated and I heard something about fuses blown. After the fact, I heard the galley was rewired. Supplemental information from acn 481421: one of them convinced the captain to come back to look. I say convinced because there was no indication in the cockpit that something was wrong. Supplemental information from acn 481184: as a result, the flcs and passenger had to stay overnight at anc. Headquarters sent a B777 that night so we could fly out from anc next morning.
