Narrative:
I was assigned to work write-ups in the cabin and after I finished, I helped remove 2 work stands in the main wheel wells. Another technician removed a ladder from the center gear area and closed the center gear doors. Later I removed the nose gear pin and closed the doors and removed the main gear (l-hand and r-hand) and returned them to the cockpit. I assumed the center pin was removed when the gear doors were closed. I did not see a flag or handle hanging down from the center gear. I then signed the paperwork.
