Narrative:
During the night of jun/xa/00, I was assigned an 'a' check on aircraft xyz. Part of my duties was to grease the main landing gear bogies. The job requirements require a long neck grease gun to grease the inner fittings. At the time I went to the tool window, this grease gun was not in stock. I proceeded to grease the outer fittings and had every intention of returning to the tool room to get the proper gun to grease the inner fittings. During the course of my work, I may have forgotten to accomplish this task.

Narrative: DURING THE NIGHT OF JUN/XA/00, I WAS ASSIGNED AN 'A' CHK ON ACFT XYZ. PART OF MY DUTIES WAS TO GREASE THE MAIN LNDG GEAR BOGIES. THE JOB REQUIREMENTS REQUIRE A LONG NECK GREASE GUN TO GREASE THE INNER FITTINGS. AT THE TIME I WENT TO THE TOOL WINDOW, THIS GREASE GUN WAS NOT IN STOCK. I PROCEEDED TO GREASE THE OUTER FITTINGS AND HAD EVERY INTENTION OF RETURNING TO THE TOOL ROOM TO GET THE PROPER GUN TO GREASE THE INNER FITTINGS. DURING THE COURSE OF MY WORK, I MAY HAVE FORGOTTEN TO ACCOMPLISH THIS TASK.
