Narrative:

The flight school that I am employed by is a satellite from the main office which is located at another airport. Logs of maintenance and inspections are kept at the other airport and a computer system is used to keep instructors notified of upcoming inspections at our office. Management/maintenance failed to update computer and the 100 hour maintenance was unknowingly exceeded. The plane was immediately grounded for maintenance when error was detected.

Title: A CESSNA 172 WAS OPERATED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH A 100 HR MAINT CHK OVERDUE.

Narrative: THE FLT SCHOOL THAT I AM EMPLOYED BY IS A SATELLITE FROM THE MAIN OFFICE WHICH IS LOCATED AT ANOTHER ARPT. LOGS OF MAINT AND INSPECTIONS ARE KEPT AT THE OTHER ARPT AND A COMPUTER SYS IS USED TO KEEP INSTRUCTORS NOTIFIED OF UPCOMING INSPECTIONS AT OUR OFFICE. MGMNT/MAINT FAILED TO UPDATE COMPUTER AND THE 100 HR MAINT WAS UNKNOWINGLY EXCEEDED. THE PLANE WAS IMMEDIATELY GNDED FOR MAINT WHEN ERROR WAS DETECTED.
