Narrative:

While flying the tarvr 1 approach to runway 34 rno at 12000 ft near spoon intersection, I noticed a glider at our 11 O'clock position, 2 mi away, 1000 ft below, in a left turn away. The glider then made a hard left turn and rolled out pointing at us. I took control of the aircraft from my copilot and made a climbing right turn. The glider then made a hard right turn and disappeared behind our left wing. I notified approach and they stated they saw no radar traffic in our area. I received no TCASII warnings. We resumed a visual straight-in to runway 34 and landed without incident. Nearest distance between my aircraft and the glider was approximately 1 1/2 mi.
