Narrative:

I departed from rhv runway 31R. I requested a left turn to pass under sjc airspace. After making my left turn, I proceeded on a heading of approximately 184 degrees magnetic, feeling I would clear the area. A passenger advised me that I might be in sjc airspace. I took immediate action to clear the airspace. This was an inadvertent entry into class C airspace. I called both rhv tower and sjc tower to inquire about a possible airspace violation. Rhv told me they didn't see me in sjc airspace. Sjc tower (controller) indicated I was in class C airspace.
