Narrative:

Performed CAT ii work cards for navigation and autoplt system on apr/thu/00. Later on, on apr/sat/00 found out my certification to perform CAT ii work on the B737-200 aircraft had expired on apr/fri/00. CAT ii authority/authorized requires recurrent training every 2 yrs. This is tracked by the training department. This situation could be avoided by placing a block on the work card where the technician would record the expiration date of his CAT ii authority/authorized for the model aircraft applicable to work card.
