Narrative:

While climbing after departure to initial altitude of FL240, final altitude was changed to FL200, creating an altitude overshoot. Clearance was read back to ATC, but altitude selector not reset. First officer was flying and did not hear the new altitude so did no reset and overshot.

Narrative: WHILE CLBING AFTER DEP TO INITIAL ALT OF FL240, FINAL ALT WAS CHANGED TO FL200, CREATING AN ALT OVERSHOOT. CLRNC WAS READ BACK TO ATC, BUT ALT SELECTOR NOT RESET. FO WAS FLYING AND DID NOT HEAR THE NEW ALT SO DID NO RESET AND OVERSHOT.
