Narrative:

The cockpit control panel indicator light for the right landing gear did not illuminate, so the captain called me up to the cockpit and explained that the panel indicated there was no right landing gear, so they were going to circle and go through their checklist. He told me he felt it was just a faulty light, but to be prepared for an evacuate/evacuation when the aircraft came to a complete stop, if there appeared to be a problem. I relayed the message to the rest of the crew. Captain made a PA to alert passenger to the condition of the flight. We circled approximately 10 mins before landing. Upon our landing, everything was normal. The captain made another PA to the passenger to tell them that maintenance would be out to pin the gear, as a precautionary measure, before we would taxi in to the gate. After the passenger left the plane, the captain had a debrief with the flight attendants to go over the chain of events. Everyone was fine and comfortable with the whole scenario.
