Narrative:

The flight was on a positioning leg from teb-pbi. We were descending from cruise flight to 8000 ft for vectors/visual approach to pbi from FL240. Captain was sitting in the right seat in the descent radioing ahead for services when the copilot descended below his assigned altitude of 8000 ft. There was no traffic at the time and approach had no comment on our mistake.
