Narrative:

On my air carrier parts preplanning, I inadvertently assigned a DC10-10 part instead of the correct DC10-30 part. I assigned in my parts line actuator zyzy when it should have been actuator wxw. ZZZ replaced part actuator zyzy instead of correct actuator wxw upper rudder actuator. When found widebody transport desk immediately issued item to replace this actuator with correct actuator (see job card xyz). Correct actuator is now installed.
