Narrative:

Visual approach to sbm, VFR announced on unicom at approximately 5 mi out. Observed county maintenance truck on runway. The truck moved off the runway after my broadcast. At approximately 1 1/2 mi out, observed truck drive back onto runway. Announced '1 mi final.' watched the truck. Forgot to lower the landing gear -- I was distraction from my normal procedures by the actions of the truck. Asked the county guys later why they acted in this manner. One man stated that they heard my first broadcast, looked out the window, didn't see the airplane, so they continued on.
