Narrative:
Captain and first officer misidented first aid kit for medical kit. On the aircraft there is 1 medical kit and 1 first aid kit. We are responsible for checking that seals are intact. The first officer duties require this on preflight. Apparently, there were 2 first aid kits, instead of 1 and 1. Maintenance caught this 2 days after my flight. Supplemental information from acn 465560: both kits are similar in size and color. The only difference is the labeling on the front of the kit.

Narrative: CAPT AND FO MISIDENTED FIRST AID KIT FOR MEDICAL KIT. ON THE ACFT THERE IS 1 MEDICAL KIT AND 1 FIRST AID KIT. WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHKING THAT SEALS ARE INTACT. THE FO DUTIES REQUIRE THIS ON PREFLT. APPARENTLY, THERE WERE 2 FIRST AID KITS, INSTEAD OF 1 AND 1. MAINT CAUGHT THIS 2 DAYS AFTER MY FLT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 465560: BOTH KITS ARE SIMILAR IN SIZE AND COLOR. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE LABELING ON THE FRONT OF THE KIT.
