Narrative:

The part 135 flight departed ewr at approximately XA00, en route to rdu. I, the sic on the trip and PNF, told the PIC that I was tired and needed to sleep. He said to 'go ahead' and that he was 'fine.' approximately 10-15 mins later the passenger tapped me on the shoulder and pointed to the pilot, who had apparently nodded off. The flight continued without incident to rdu, and eventually to cdw. I feel it would have been helpful to know about the trip in advance. I would have gone to sleep much earlier, and would have been much fresher for the trip.
