Narrative:

On approach control frequency into iah, I received an off route vector to fly heading 160 degrees and maintain 14000 ft. Approximately 1 min later, ATC asked if we were on a heading of 060 degrees. We stated our assigned heading and read back heading was 160 degrees. ATC then said to turn left heading 060 degrees. No known conflicts occurred.
