Narrative:

APU fire warning, declared emergency, first officer completed APU fire checklist, diverted to ric. Fire/rescue checked for signs of fire, found no signs on runway. Followed us to gate, checked aircraft again for signs of fire, found no signs. Fire warning continued, suspect faulty fire loop. Maintenance came to conduct check, but we were gone. Also, overweight landing, smooth touchdown.
