Narrative:

I was on a right base to runway 8L, being vectored to a visual approach. When cleared for the visual, I contacted tower and was cleared to land on runway 8L, hold short of runway 4L. I advised the tower that I was unable to hold short of runway 4L. I told him that, because I could see that the entire airport was covered with standing water and my operations specifications do not allow lahso operations on a wet runway. Tower asked me if I had informed approach control that I would be unable to lahso. I replied no, that approach did not tell me the runway was wet. Tower replied that the runway was not wet. I asked tower if I was cleared to land on runway 8L and he replied 'you are cleared to land runway 8L.' nothing further was discussed regarding lahso.
