Narrative:

It was the second week of flying the same trip between mco and ind. Everyday the route was the same. The first officer got the clearance and when I asked about it he replied, 'same as usual.' since this was one of our most senior first officer's I trusted him to check the route compared to the clearance. Unfortunately he did not and after crossing the alma VOR we were to proceed via J46, instead we continued on J45 as we had done everyday before this the following week. ATC picked up the problem immediately and we corrected our course without any known problems.

Title: B727 CREW HAD TRACK DEV.

Narrative: IT WAS THE SECOND WK OF FLYING THE SAME TRIP BTWN MCO AND IND. EVERYDAY THE RTE WAS THE SAME. THE FO GOT THE CLRNC AND WHEN I ASKED ABOUT IT HE REPLIED, 'SAME AS USUAL.' SINCE THIS WAS ONE OF OUR MOST SENIOR FO'S I TRUSTED HIM TO CHK THE RTE COMPARED TO THE CLRNC. UNFORTUNATELY HE DID NOT AND AFTER XING THE ALMA VOR WE WERE TO PROCEED VIA J46, INSTEAD WE CONTINUED ON J45 AS WE HAD DONE EVERYDAY BEFORE THIS THE FOLLOWING WK. ATC PICKED UP THE PROB IMMEDIATELY AND WE CORRECTED OUR COURSE WITHOUT ANY KNOWN PROBS.
