Narrative:

During takeoff, airplane started to rattle. Captain aborted takeoff and immediately came over the PA and explained the problem. No evacuate/evacuation was necessary. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that the rattling and vibrations on the runway caused the ceiling panels to fall down, the overhead bins to pop open, spilling out luggage, and widespread fear among the passenger and cabin crew. The captain gave no evacuate/evacuation signal, but instead rolled the plane off the runway to a remote area. The plane had blown 3 tires on the r-hand side and was on the metal spokes. The engine and wing had some damage from parts of the tire flying off and hitting them. The plane was taken OTS for the repair, causing the flight to cancel. The captain said later that the problem could have been caused by faulty tires, the runway at ZZZ being 'wavy' or uneven and the plane being heavy with fuel.
