Narrative:

I recently transitioned from a 19 seat aircraft to a 50 seat aircraft. The flight time limits between the 2 aircraft types differs (far 121.470 limited to 34 hours in any 7 consecutive days versus far 121.471 limited to any 30 hours in any 7 consecutive days). I inadvertently overlooked this. On oct/thu/99, I flew 1.7 hours. The airline scheduled me (and I accepted) for a trip starting on oct/fri/99, that was 3.3 hours flight time. I was then scheduled for (and I accepted) a trip starting on oct/sun/99, and ending on oct/thu/99, with 26.7 hours flight time. This put my 7 day total at 30 hours (3.3 + 26.7 = 30 hours) prior to starting trip. Some legs on the 5 day trip took longer than scheduled due to ATC delays en route, as a result of which my 7 day limit was exceeded by 1.2 hours (3.3 + 27.9 = 31.2 hours). The airline failed to notify me of this potential exceedance and I inadvertently did not catch it until after the trip when totaling my logbook.
