Narrative:

Upon getting close to the airport, we did a simulated engine failure. We simulated going through the appropriate emergency checklist for an engine failure. We went through the before landing check and decided to leave gear up and flaps up till we were assured of making it to the airport. We made left traffic for runway 17. When turning final, we were still slightly high, so the pilot initiated s-turns to lose some altitude. At that time the workload was getting high. I was making the radio calls. I saw him put down flaps and thought the gear was down. We then landed on runway and slid to a stop. The aircraft did not sustain substantial damage, and is not rptable under NTSB 830.

Title: A CESSNA INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENT PLT MADE A GEAR UP LNDG AT C00.

Narrative: UPON GETTING CLOSE TO THE ARPT, WE DID A SIMULATED ENG FAILURE. WE SIMULATED GOING THROUGH THE APPROPRIATE EMER CHKLIST FOR AN ENG FAILURE. WE WENT THROUGH THE BEFORE LNDG CHK AND DECIDED TO LEAVE GEAR UP AND FLAPS UP TILL WE WERE ASSURED OF MAKING IT TO THE ARPT. WE MADE L TFC FOR RWY 17. WHEN TURNING FINAL, WE WERE STILL SLIGHTLY HIGH, SO THE PLT INITIATED S-TURNS TO LOSE SOME ALT. AT THAT TIME THE WORKLOAD WAS GETTING HIGH. I WAS MAKING THE RADIO CALLS. I SAW HIM PUT DOWN FLAPS AND THOUGHT THE GEAR WAS DOWN. WE THEN LANDED ON RWY AND SLID TO A STOP. THE ACFT DID NOT SUSTAIN SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE, AND IS NOT RPTABLE UNDER NTSB 830.
