Narrative:

I was working the grr TRACON airspace. I had initiated an automated handoff of a departing aircraft co ZAU, sparta sector. Aircraft communication had been xferred to chicago. The ZAU controller called to inquire if I had received a pointout on traffic for the departure. I had not. Lansing approach ran an IFR aircraft through my airspace without coordination. ZAU caught the error and saved a possible loss of separation with my handed off aircraft to lansing departure.

Title: A GRR DEP CTLR FOUND OUT FROM ZAU THAT LAN APCH HAD TFC AFFECTING HIS DEPS.

Narrative: I WAS WORKING THE GRR TRACON AIRSPACE. I HAD INITIATED AN AUTOMATED HDOF OF A DEPARTING ACFT CO ZAU, SPARTA SECTOR. ACFT COM HAD BEEN XFERRED TO CHICAGO. THE ZAU CTLR CALLED TO INQUIRE IF I HAD RECEIVED A POINTOUT ON TFC FOR THE DEP. I HAD NOT. LANSING APCH RAN AN IFR ACFT THROUGH MY AIRSPACE WITHOUT COORD. ZAU CAUGHT THE ERROR AND SAVED A POSSIBLE LOSS OF SEPARATION WITH MY HANDED OFF ACFT TO LANSING DEP.
