Narrative:

Was issued a descent from 6000 ft to 4000 ft. Upon reaching 4000 ft, the approach controller said he issued 5000 ft. We immediately climbed to 5000 ft. No TCASII event, no traffic close by. Unsure if ATC or flight crew misunderstood clearance or readback.
