Narrative:

On preflight in msp, found first officer's RMI out of synch and corrected it. Flight was normal to lse. On preflight the next morning, found RMI out of synch again. Looked through logbook for history of problem and found open write-up that had been placed on wrong page. Notified maintenance control. Canceled flight and ferried aircraft to dtw.

Narrative: ON PREFLT IN MSP, FOUND FO'S RMI OUT OF SYNCH AND CORRECTED IT. FLT WAS NORMAL TO LSE. ON PREFLT THE NEXT MORNING, FOUND RMI OUT OF SYNCH AGAIN. LOOKED THROUGH LOGBOOK FOR HISTORY OF PROB AND FOUND OPEN WRITE-UP THAT HAD BEEN PLACED ON WRONG PAGE. NOTIFIED MAINT CTL. CANCELED FLT AND FERRIED ACFT TO DTW.
