Narrative:

Flying to dfw on the cqy.CQY4 STAR, told to cross howdy at 11000 ft. First officer flying. Passing 13000 ft, told to stop at 12000 ft. We set 12000 ft, but autoplt already captured 11000 ft because we were descending quickly. I was distraction with traffic calls and frequency changes. Passed 11600 ft, got altitude horn and verbal. First officer pulled aircraft back up to 12000 ft. I believe aircraft had descended to 11400 ft. There did not appear to be any traffic conflict.
