Narrative:

On visual downwind to runway, the master warning light illuminated with the annunciator lights for cargo fire and cabin smoke. An emergency was declared with tower and the visual approach was continued. The smoke and fire checklist and cargo fire checklists were accomplished. Ground evacuate/evacuation procedures and the before landing check was accomplished. After landing, we cleared the runway on taxiway east and deployed the slide. All 4 crew members and 2 jump seaters safely evacuate/evacuationed. The airport fire department was waiting and determined that there was no fire.

Title: DC10-30 FLC HAS CARGO FIRE AND SMOKE WARNING ON VISUAL APCH TO FLL.

Narrative: ON VISUAL DOWNWIND TO RWY, THE MASTER WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED WITH THE ANNUNCIATOR LIGHTS FOR CARGO FIRE AND CABIN SMOKE. AN EMER WAS DECLARED WITH TWR AND THE VISUAL APCH WAS CONTINUED. THE SMOKE AND FIRE CHKLIST AND CARGO FIRE CHKLISTS WERE ACCOMPLISHED. GND EVAC PROCS AND THE BEFORE LNDG CHK WAS ACCOMPLISHED. AFTER LNDG, WE CLRED THE RWY ON TXWY E AND DEPLOYED THE SLIDE. ALL 4 CREW MEMBERS AND 2 JUMP SEATERS SAFELY EVACED. THE ARPT FIRE DEPT WAS WAITING AND DETERMINED THAT THERE WAS NO FIRE.
