Narrative: DOOR REPAIRED PER ENGINEERING REPAIR AUTH -- FAA APPROVAL PENDING. WORK DOCUMENTS SIGNED OFF DID NOT REFLECT APPROVAL PENDING. PART WAS MADE SERVICEABLE AND INSTALLED ON ACFT. A DOCUMENT REVIEW SHOWED REPAIR PENDING. SEVERAL DAYS PAST WITH ACFT IN SVC. COMPANY SELF DISCLOSED AND RETURNED ACFT FOR COMPLIANCE CHK OF APPROVED REPAIR -- NO DEVS FOUND.
