Narrative:

We were experiencing moderate to slight turbulence, which is felt more in the aft of the aircraft, and I was positioning a beverage cart and preparing for our first service. When we hit turbulence, I was caught off balance and my left knee slammed into the cart. Turbulence happens, and I do not feel that anything short of not doing the service could have prevented this incident.
