Narrative:

Master fire warning light (red) and another unknown annunciator light (amber) on forward instrument panel flickered on rotation. At FL330 we got an APU fire warning light. Followed communication procedure. Immediately, upon discharging fire bottle, warning extinguished. Warning system subsequently tested normal (both loops). Contacted dispatch, maintenance control and chief pilot. Aircraft had a history of APU problems, including loop 'a' in dual fire loop ('or' logic). APU had not operated for 1 hour at time of warning. It is in an unpressurized compartment. Our decision was to continue to destination.
