Narrative:

During second touch and go the tower issued instructions which sounded like a right or left traffic option and then a right turn to 310 degrees. This made no sense, but I repeated 'left traffic and then right to 310 degrees.' later, on a land line the tower told me he had said 'negative.' a learjet took off behind me on runway 24 and I crossed the departure end of runway 24 well clear of the lear.
