Narrative:

I was flying with current TCA/sectional charts for lax and I was unaware that toa's class east airspace has been changed to surface class D airspace. I made contact with the toa tower and was advised I was inside the airspace that is now called class D airspace. I said I was unaware of the change and nothing further was said. Tower pointed out the change just took effect recently. I thanked the tower for informing me and I continued my flight.
