Narrative:

Aborted takeoff in rst for high engine vibration #1. Winds were southeasterly taking off runway 13. We made a rolling takeoff adding some power while facing into the wind. Prior to reaching 1.4 EPR, high vibration engine #1 enunciated. The engine #1 N1 vibration tape was high and there was a slight vibration in the airframe. Aborted takeoff about 60 KTS taxied clear. Ran #1 engine up to 1.4 EPR and the N2 vibration tape was high but just within limits. Retarded throttle, ran engine #1 up to 1.4, again engine vibration tape was higher than normal but within normal range. Returned to gate.
