Narrative:
On may/xa/99, I was asked to meet the owner of aircraft xyz at ZZZ and fly him to XXX, drop him off, then deliver the aircraft to ZZZ for an annual. I asked the owner if xyz was in annual. He advised me that it was. When the aircraft arrived, I confirmed this with the pilot that flew it to ZZZ. I was told 2 days later by the mechanic that it was out of annual for 1 month. I flew this aircraft from XXX to ZZZ.
