Narrative:

After landing at dfw while taxiing to the gate, aircraft behind reported smoke coming from left main gear brakes. This was confirmed by second aircraft. Called for arfe (fire fighting equipment) to check wheels. Arfe personnel used fan on left brakes although temperature never exceeded 190 degrees C (middle of green arc). Arfe personnel also reported fluid leaking from or on left brakes. Shut down and had aircraft towed to gate.

Title: A FOKKER 100 ON TAXI IN REQUESTS FIRE EQUIP DUE TO RPT OF SMOKE FROM THE L MAIN GEAR CAUSED BY A HYD LEAK.

Narrative: AFTER LNDG AT DFW WHILE TAXIING TO THE GATE, ACFT BEHIND RPTED SMOKE COMING FROM L MAIN GEAR BRAKES. THIS WAS CONFIRMED BY SECOND ACFT. CALLED FOR ARFE (FIRE FIGHTING EQUIP) TO CHK WHEELS.
