Narrative:

We were trying to take off at lax during a time when a strong WX system was just east of the field. ATIS called the wind at 230 degrees 16 KTS. When told to position and hold, tower called the wind at 030 degrees 11 KTS. This is still ok for takeoff. After takeoff, the captain thinks he remembers that tower called the wind 060 degrees 11 KTS at some point. If that were true, then we took off 1 KT out of tailwind limitation.
