Narrative:

On mar/xa/99 on flight from jfk to lax, a flight attendant from main cabin came up to the service center between first class and business class on the md DC10 and told the purser that she had caught a man smoking in the lavatory. She reported that he had smoked again after she had warned the 2 guys. The purser went back to warn them. She said they laughed at her and she went up to the cockpit to have someone meet the flight. I saw nothing, since I was working in business class. I only overheard the conversation between the main cabin flight attendant and the #1 flight attendant.
