Narrative:

On mar/xa/99, flight xyz did a rejected takeoff due to a door light. I was informed by our operations manager since the captain took off without calling me. The captain then called me in-flight, said that he had an aborted takeoff at about 70-80 KTS. He then said that it was 70 KTS since the airspeed indicator was just starting to move. He said that he called maintenance because he had a door light on. He said that he heard a flight attendant say 'oh, the handle is not closed.' when they closed the handle, the light went off and the door looked closed, so maintenance said that it was ok to continue. He also said that he satisfied the cooling off period since it took him 10 mins just to find the chart in the manual. I advised him to call me on the ground in ZZZ to go over the procedure.
