Narrative:

Aircraft flight plan processing incident. Aircraft didn't hand off to ZKC ARTCC because flight plan processing from ZAU to ZID was incomplete. Receiving controller at ZID didn't know he was talking to airplane. He thought ZAU was handling necessary coordination with ZKC. Aircraft went into ZKC without a handoff -- airspace violation.

Title: ZID CTLR NOT AWARE UNTIL AFTER A ZKC AIRSPACE VIOLATION OCCURS THAT INCORRECT COMPUTER RTE PROCESSING WAS NOT OBSERVED BY THE ZAU AND ZID CTLRS.

Narrative: ACFT FLT PLAN PROCESSING INCIDENT. ACFT DIDN'T HAND OFF TO ZKC ARTCC BECAUSE FLT PLAN PROCESSING FROM ZAU TO ZID WAS INCOMPLETE. RECEIVING CTLR AT ZID DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS TALKING TO AIRPLANE. HE THOUGHT ZAU WAS HANDLING NECESSARY COORD WITH ZKC. ACFT WENT INTO ZKC WITHOUT A HDOF -- AIRSPACE VIOLATION.
