Narrative:

Attempting to park at dfw gate abc. I found no lead-in lines at any of the gates. We were parking at gate abc and not only did we not see any lead-in lines, we did not see wingtip clearance lines -- especially to the right side, there were a sea of baggage carts parked. Either all those baggage carts need to be removed, or red clearance lines need to be painted -- before we encounter a collision between wingtip and ground equipment in that area.

Title: FLC OF A SUPER MD80 DID NOT HAVE ANY LEAD-IN OR BOUNDARY LINES ON THE RAMP TO GUIDE THEM TO THE GATE. THERE WERE THE USUAL BAGGAGE CARTS PARKED ON THE SIDE OF WHICH HAD TO BE AVOIDED WITH THEIR WINGTIP.

WE WERE PARKING AT GATE ABC AND NOT ONLY DID WE NOT SEE ANY LEAD-IN LINES, WE DID NOT SEE WINGTIP CLRNC LINES -- ESPECIALLY TO THE R SIDE, THERE WERE A SEA OF BAGGAGE CARTS PARKED. EITHER ALL THOSE BAGGAGE CARTS NEED TO BE REMOVED, OR RED CLRNC LINES NEED TO BE PAINTED -- BEFORE WE ENCOUNTER A COLLISION BTWN WINGTIP AND GND EQUIP IN THAT AREA.
