Narrative:

We were cleared to take off on runway 15L and given an initial heading of 360 degrees, climb and maintain 4000 ft. Climbing through 3500 ft, tower started to hand us off then said to stay with him. Just prior to level off, and as we were rolling out on the 360 degree heading we received a TA. At the same time tower made a transmission that we were unable to hear due to the TCASII alert. This was followed shortly by an RA to descend. We saw the traffic visually and followed the RA. We descended about 200 ft to 3700 ft. The captain informed tower that we had responded to an RA. Tower acknowledged and sent us to departure frequency.
