Narrative:
Aircraft was boarded without minimum crew of flight attendants on board. I was in the cockpit and did not realize boarding had begun. For about the first 2 mins of boarding 1 of the 4 flight attendants in the required crew remained on the jetbridge because the caterers were servicing the forward galley. After asking the flight attendant to come on board the aircraft I made sure she understood she had to be on board during passenger boarding.

Title: A COMMERCIAL FIXED WING LGT ACFT HAD PAX BOARDING THE ACFT WITH ONLY 3 OF THE REQUIRED 4 CABIN ATTENDANTS ONBOARD.
Narrative: ACFT WAS BOARDED WITHOUT MINIMUM CREW OF FLT ATTENDANTS ON BOARD. I WAS IN THE COCKPIT AND DID NOT REALIZE BOARDING HAD BEGUN. FOR ABOUT THE FIRST 2 MINS OF BOARDING 1 OF THE 4 FLT ATTENDANTS IN THE REQUIRED CREW REMAINED ON THE JETBRIDGE BECAUSE THE CATERERS WERE SVCING THE FORWARD GALLEY. AFTER ASKING THE FLT ATTENDANT TO COME ON BOARD THE ACFT I MADE SURE SHE UNDERSTOOD SHE HAD TO BE ON BOARD DURING PAX BOARDING.
