Narrative:

M20J mooney landing gear collapse during rollout. No injuries. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated a landing gear indication problem was experienced 1 flight hour prior to this incident and was investigated by the local FBO. The reporter said the local FBO made every effort to find the problem by jacking the aircraft, recycling the gear and inspecting the operation. The reporter said the actuator motor control limit and indication micro switch were replaced and adjusted. The reporter stated the micro switch adjustment was not done correctly causing partial gear extension and unsafe gear indication. The reporter said the aircraft incurred major damage to the propeller, engine and right wing leading edge.

Title: A MOONEY 20J LANDED WITH LNDG GEAR UNSAFE LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AND THE LNDG GEAR PARTIALLY EXTENDED CAUSED BY AN IMPROPERLY ADJUSTED GEAR ACTUATOR MICRO SWITCH.

Narrative: M20J MOONEY LNDG GEAR COLLAPSE DURING ROLLOUT. NO INJURIES. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED A LNDG GEAR INDICATION PROB WAS EXPERIENCED 1 FLT HR PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT AND WAS INVESTIGATED BY THE LCL FBO. THE RPTR SAID THE LCL FBO MADE EVERY EFFORT TO FIND THE PROB BY JACKING THE ACFT, RECYCLING THE GEAR AND INSPECTING THE OP. THE RPTR SAID THE ACTUATOR MOTOR CTL LIMIT AND INDICATION MICRO SWITCH WERE REPLACED AND ADJUSTED. THE RPTR STATED THE MICRO SWITCH ADJUSTMENT WAS NOT DONE CORRECTLY CAUSING PARTIAL GEAR EXTENSION AND UNSAFE GEAR INDICATION. THE RPTR SAID THE ACFT INCURRED MAJOR DAMAGE TO THE PROP, ENG AND R WING LEADING EDGE.
