Narrative:

While descending for an approach during gusty, windy conditions, I was having trouble spotting the runway and was concentrating on flying the airplane. I clipped the corner of las class B airspace without being cleared into the class B. I was squawking 1200 at the time and was in contact with henderson L15 tower and subsequently landed in a gusty crosswind. Class B airspace, especially las, needs a broader VFR corridor to land at L15 without violating class B. It is less than 5 mi from the runway when coming from vgt, which I was. It is easy to remain outside the class B until, that is, you have the runway in sight and are preparing for the approach. Tower asked me to enter a right base for runway 18 and as I was concurring, I clipped the class B.

Title: A C182R ENTERED LAS CLASS B AIRSPACE WITHOUT CLRNC WHILE LNDG S AT L15, NV.

Narrative: WHILE DSNDING FOR AN APCH DURING GUSTY, WINDY CONDITIONS, I WAS HAVING TROUBLE SPOTTING THE RWY AND WAS CONCENTRATING ON FLYING THE AIRPLANE. I CLIPPED THE CORNER OF LAS CLASS B AIRSPACE WITHOUT BEING CLRED INTO THE CLASS B. I WAS SQUAWKING 1200 AT THE TIME AND WAS IN CONTACT WITH HENDERSON L15 TWR AND SUBSEQUENTLY LANDED IN A GUSTY XWIND. CLASS B AIRSPACE, ESPECIALLY LAS, NEEDS A BROADER VFR CORRIDOR TO LAND AT L15 WITHOUT VIOLATING CLASS B. IT IS LESS THAN 5 MI FROM THE RWY WHEN COMING FROM VGT, WHICH I WAS. IT IS EASY TO REMAIN OUTSIDE THE CLASS B UNTIL, THAT IS, YOU HAVE THE RWY IN SIGHT AND ARE PREPARING FOR THE APCH. TWR ASKED ME TO ENTER A R BASE FOR RWY 18 AND AS I WAS CONCURRING, I CLIPPED THE CLASS B.
