Narrative:

On descent into tys, we received a TA and then an immediate RA to descend. A parachute jumper aircraft was apparently climbing to throw jumpers. We took evasive action as dictated by the RA and went through our altitude considerably. The 250 KT airspeed below 10000 ft may have also been exceeded. In the right seat of the aircraft, I never had visual contact with the other aircraft. Supplemental information from acn 425317: the small cessna was in a climb at around 10500 ft, about 10 mi from our position. ATC finally advised us of a VFR aircraft. We looked at the TCASII and saw the aircraft headed for us. We asked for a vector, but we almost immediately received a TA then an RA. I feel quite certain a collision was imminent had I not taken evasive action.

Title: A DSNDING CL65RJ OVERSHOT ITS ASSIGNED ALT OF 11000 FT AND EXCEEDED 250 KTS DURING THE DSCNT THROUGH 10000 FT. THE ACFT WAS IN AN EVASIVE MANEUVER BECAUSE OF A TCASII RA FOR A CLBING CESSNA SKYDIVING ACFT.

Narrative: ON DSCNT INTO TYS, WE RECEIVED A TA AND THEN AN IMMEDIATE RA TO DSND. A PARACHUTE JUMPER ACFT WAS APPARENTLY CLBING TO THROW JUMPERS. WE TOOK EVASIVE ACTION AS DICTATED BY THE RA AND WENT THROUGH OUR ALT CONSIDERABLY. THE 250 KT AIRSPD BELOW 10000 FT MAY HAVE ALSO BEEN EXCEEDED. IN THE R SEAT OF THE ACFT, I NEVER HAD VISUAL CONTACT WITH THE OTHER ACFT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 425317: THE SMALL CESSNA WAS IN A CLB AT AROUND 10500 FT, ABOUT 10 MI FROM OUR POS.
