Narrative:

At FL240, received clearance to cross benky at 11000 ft. Altitude selected in window, and promptly forgotten. When approximately 5 NM from benky, awareness was restored when center asked our altitude -- FL240. Was vectored off course and resequenced into arrival flow. A simple case of neither pilot paying attention, or expecting the other to. No excuses offered, or possible. Our fault totally.
