Narrative:
Told to fly a downwind for runway 25 and I (aircraft X) thought I was told I was #2 following a cessna (aircraft Z) on short final. I extended my downwind and turned base, then final when I saw a cessna (aircraft Y) to my right also on final. Tower advised me of traffic for runway 31 and I mistook that for my traffic on runway 25. My attention was diverted from reporting no traffic in sight due to a voice activated headset which was plugged in on the back seat.

Title: SMA PLT MISTAKES TWR ISSUED TFC FOR ORL RWY 31 AS TFC TO FOLLOW FOR RWY 25. PLT COMES INTO CONFLICT WITH OTHER ACFT ON FINAL FOR RWY 25.
Narrative: TOLD TO FLY A DOWNWIND FOR RWY 25 AND I (ACFT X) THOUGHT I WAS TOLD I WAS #2 FOLLOWING A CESSNA (ACFT Z) ON SHORT FINAL. I EXTENDED MY DOWNWIND AND TURNED BASE, THEN FINAL WHEN I SAW A CESSNA (ACFT Y) TO MY R ALSO ON FINAL. TWR ADVISED ME OF TFC FOR RWY 31 AND I MISTOOK THAT FOR MY TFC ON RWY 25. MY ATTN WAS DIVERTED FROM RPTING NO TFC IN SIGHT DUE TO A VOICE ACTIVATED HEADSET WHICH WAS PLUGGED IN ON THE BACK SEAT.
