Narrative:

Told to fly a downwind for runway 25 and I (aircraft X) thought I was told I was #2 following a cessna (aircraft Z) on short final. I extended my downwind and turned base, then final when I saw a cessna (aircraft Y) to my right also on final. Tower advised me of traffic for runway 31 and I mistook that for my traffic on runway 25. My attention was diverted from reporting no traffic in sight due to a voice activated headset which was plugged in on the back seat.

Narrative: TOLD TO FLY A DOWNWIND FOR RWY 25 AND I (ACFT X) THOUGHT I WAS TOLD I WAS #2 FOLLOWING A CESSNA (ACFT Z) ON SHORT FINAL.
