Narrative:

I was approached postflt by an FAA inspector. The aircraft I had flown was of mexican registry and I assumed all paperwork was in order. In fact, the mexican registration aboard was expired. Before flying another foreign aircraft I will insure a thorough investigation so that the aircraft will be 100% legal for flight in this country regardless of the language on the onboard paperwork.
