Narrative:

I was departing from las. I was cleared to taxi to runway 1L via taxiway H for takeoff at intersection west. At intersection west I advised tower I was ready for takeoff. Tower cleared me for takeoff on runway 1L. I taxied forward and turned left and departed. Tower requested me to turn left to 270 degrees as soon as possible during climb out. After my left turn to 270 degrees, I looked back at the runway and it appeared as though I may have taken off on taxiway F. I don't know for sure and the tower said nothing about it. If indeed I did take off on taxiway F, it was due to my being unfamiliar with the airport. To prevent this I should have requested assistance from the tower to ensure I was on runway 1L.

Title: GA C182 PLT POSSIBLE TKOF FROM TXWY AT LAS.

Narrative: I WAS DEPARTING FROM LAS. I WAS CLRED TO TAXI TO RWY 1L VIA TXWY H FOR TKOF AT INTXN W. AT INTXN W I ADVISED TWR I WAS READY FOR TKOF. TWR CLRED ME FOR TKOF ON RWY 1L. I TAXIED FORWARD AND TURNED L AND DEPARTED. TWR REQUESTED ME TO TURN L TO 270 DEGS ASAP DURING CLBOUT. AFTER MY L TURN TO 270 DEGS, I LOOKED BACK AT THE RWY AND IT APPEARED AS THOUGH I MAY HAVE TAKEN OFF ON TXWY F. I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE AND THE TWR SAID NOTHING ABOUT IT. IF INDEED I DID TAKE OFF ON TXWY F, IT WAS DUE TO MY BEING UNFAMILIAR WITH THE ARPT. TO PREVENT THIS I SHOULD HAVE REQUESTED ASSISTANCE FROM THE TWR TO ENSURE I WAS ON RWY 1L.
