Narrative:
Aircraft xyz arrived with a PIREP involving radio altimeter and GPWS. I proceeded to placard the GPWS. After aircraft departure and review of the PIREP, I concluded that the radio altimeter system should also have been deferred and placarded along with a lower minimum performance downgrade. When the aircraft returned to ZZZ, I accomplished the required checks for the radio altimeter system, GPWS, and performed a land 40 test and cleared the item.

Narrative: ACFT XYZ ARRIVED WITH A PIREP INVOLVING RADIO ALTIMETER AND GPWS. I PROCEEDED TO PLACARD THE GPWS. AFTER ACFT DEP AND REVIEW OF THE PIREP, I CONCLUDED THAT THE RADIO ALTIMETER SYS SHOULD ALSO HAVE BEEN DEFERRED AND PLACARDED ALONG WITH A LOWER MINIMUM PERFORMANCE DOWNGRADE.
